John joined the T2 CrossFit family in August of 2016. He was an inspiration to so many of us who knew him as he gave everything he had on every workout. Even on his rest days, he still came and warmed up and stretched and did active recovery to keep moving. He fought a tough three and a half year battle with cancer and it unfortunately took him away from CrossFit while he battled it. Even when he couldn’t workout due to treatments, he came and said hi and brought smiles and positivity to everyone. 

John passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2019. John will be truly missed at T2 and his fight both in the gym and against cancer makes him this month’s Athlete of the Month.
