Congratulations to the new members who took the proverbial ‘first step on their road to change’. The Fundamentals’ Class is just the beginning of your learning curve which will now soar exponentially. But what should you expect during your first few classes, weeks, months?

You will probably feel overwhelmed, sore, lost, frustrated … – all to be expected. You will also feel support from T2 members and coaches, delight at being able to move the next day without hobbling around, an embryonic understanding of the ‘new language of CrossFit’, exhilaration when the barbell does exactly what you want it to do when you want it to ….. all to be expected.

Be patient. Ask, watch and listen. Embrace the challenge of the new.

!!!! This Saturday, 5 January 2019:

Kettlebells4Kids @ T2 CrossFit

Event being organized by T2 CrossFit Teen, Maggie, for her social service project.

“Did you know there are an estimated 2.5 million homeless children in America? Nearly 40,000 are right here in Pennsylvania.

Bring family and friends. A great way to begin the New Year – by helping others. And getting in a great workout. Bring your children and their friends then, just for a change, you can watch them workout. Or maybe workout along side them.

Maggie has set up a donation page – T2 CrossFit : Athletes for Homeless Kids. Please visit the page now and T2 CrossFit on 5 January.

Fundamental Class: A great opportunity for a refresher course alongside a friend who is trying CrossFit for the first time. Call 412-277-5922 or email to reserve your spot.

New shirts – t-shirts and long sleeved thermals.

There will be a price increase on Monday, 7 January for the T2 CrossFit members’ Unlimited T2 Fitness subscription. If you sign up before 7 January, your rate will be $30. New subscription sign-ups on and after Monday, 7 January will be $40.

B-I-N-G-O ….. Not “The Farmer’s Dog Leapt o’er the Stile” but still Bingo. Are you up for a little extra challenge? Pick up a Bingo Card from the lobby. Read the rules and have a go. I have it on good authority, you probably shouldn’t do the ‘5 minute plank’ as your first event. Runs until the end of January so get cracking.
