Battle of the ‘Burgh last Saturday – both teams finished 2nd in their division. Great job everyone. And huge thank you to those who turned out to cheer.

New members from the Intro Class: Please welcome, say “hi” and help Judi Sahayda and Matt Harbaugh. Cast your minds back to when you first graduated, it can be rather intimidating.

One of our ‘senior’ T2 CrossFit Kids athletes is making a difference. She will be working with/for the Kettlebells4Kids charity to help raise awareness and funds for homeless kids in PA. This project is part of her community service for the Medallion Ball. And if she so wishes, she can use it as her community service in high school and National Honor program. Not only that, she has just had her birthday and her birthday present/surprise is a trip, with her Mum, to Madison WI to the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games. When asked what she is most looking forward to:

“I’m mostly looking forward to watching Anna (Tobias) and all the teens compete. Kettlebells4Kids is an amazing organization and I’m looking forward to learning more about it when I meet up with them in Madison too.”

Good for her and good luck to her.

For those of us being left behind and are not going to Madison WI, if there are any changes to our regular schedule during the time Brad and Anna are on vacation (haha!) at the beginning of August, they will be posted at the gym this week, on social media and will be included in the blog/newsletter next week and a note will be included on the T2 website.

** Handstand Clinic for Beginners is on Sunday, 23 July 10:00-12:00. Please note the start time change from 10:30 to 10:00

**Price for Anna’s Army CrossFit Games shirts $17.50. They are in. If you ordered one, see Anna. We will charge your account unless you would rather pay cash or cheque.

**Girls Gone Rx: Compete for a Cure! Our all-women competition encourages fun and fitness while raising awareness for Breast Cancer. Registration is open.

Girls Gone Rx Competition to be held here, at T2 CrossFit, Bridgeville, on  Saturday 9th September 2017. Get your teams together.  More information here , registration details here and standards here.

Ladies, if you would like to be involved but don’t feel ready to compete, we are looking for volunteers to help with equipment set up, judging, admin duties and general help. Guys, you are not allowed to compete but you are allowed to help. Please sign up if you are free that day. If you are able to help for half a day, that’s fine, just make a note of whether it is AM or PM. Thank you all in anticipation of making our first competition a huge success. Sign-up sheet is on the computer shelf.

**Next Intro Class will begin Monday, 14th August at 6:00pm.

A follow-up housekeeping note: The FitAid situation has improved drastically. Thank you.
