Wedding Bells and Moving Vans

Two of our members, Kristen DiNardo and Danny McIlvaine are getting married this weekend! Congratulations and all the very best from our T2 CrossFit community.


Kirbie Standley is moving back to Texas but not before she competes in the Spartan Beast race this weekend in Chandlersville, OH. The course is obviously unpredictable because the distance covered is noted as 14-16 miles. Good luck Kirbie, both with the race and your move.


Making everyone proud, Dylan A Mary graduating from the US Army. He will be around for a couple of weeks but then he is deploying to South Korea. We wish him well and thank him for his commitment to the services in order to preserve our freedom.


On Saturday, 20 May, this Saturday, Wade Roth has organized an indoor rock climbing event at Ascend:Pittsburgh. It is between 4:00-8:00pm. It is $25 and includes all equipment. For more details, go to: Indoor Climbing Event or see/contact Wade Roth.


* LuRong Challenge: first workout will be held on Saturday, 20 May at 8:00am. Doors will open by 7:30am in order to allow time to warm up. After completing this workout, hang around for the Community WOD, Members’ WOD and finish off your day with rock climbing. Phew!

If you are new to the LuRong Challenge, there is a private T2 page where all manner of things are discussed, mainly to do with diet, food and requests for judges. If you are not a member of the page, Facebook friend me, Teresa Albani or Anna and we will get you included.

* And talking of Facebook pages. There is a private T2 Discussion page which is for T2 members. Again if you are on Facebook but not a member of this page, let us know.


* Handstand clinic: Sunday, 21 May, 10:30-12:30 for those who have already registered.

* Rowing Clinic: Sunday, 11 June: see Anna to sign up. Open to any T2 member and will be focusing on efficiency – getting the most meters/calories for your pull. Cap of 24 so get your name down. $25

* Next Intro Class will begin Tuesday, 6 June.


Memorial Day:

Hours: 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00 noon

Hero WOD: ‘Luce’

Wearing 20#/10# vest: 3 rounds

1K run, 10 muscle-ups, 100 squats

While this is the Rx for ‘Luce’, it will be scaled and modified for those who need it. Please come and join us.
