4th July Hero “Hammer” + 335 Miles

Post Happy 4th July. I hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend. And if you didn’t yet get to see your fireworks because the rain delayed play, here’s hoping for a dry evening tonight.

I have to say, I had a brilliant 4th. I WOD’d alongside some great people yesterday and we were honored to do Hero WOD “Hammer”. *** In Honor of US Army Sergeant Michael “Hammer” Bordelon ***

National Anthem sung beautifully by Michelle Mercuri. Plenty of scaling and modifying went on but everyone gave that extra bit of effort and got through it. I also ate cookies (Paleo of course) and then had dinner with family.

IMG_2187The back parking lot (although it is the lot you see first as you drive up to the building) was sealed and painted this weekend. Feel free to park there if you wish. It is the same distance to the front entrance as the other side. Well, almost.

It was a charity ride to raise money for the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania. #335 miles in 5 days. Not bad. Hopefully Dan will share some of his experiences with us.

Have a great day.
