“The Opens” = Friday Nights Lights + T2 CrossFit Intra-Gym Team Competition. 

Oh my gosh, it’s finally here. You have worked so hard on your goals, now is the time to really test them. You um’d and ar’d about whether or not to sign up but you did anyway. You are not sure whether or not you are ready, do you have the required skills, can you lift enough weight; so much doubt at the moment. However, trust your training and the standards to which you train, and you will survive. Whether you are new to The Open or a veteran, you will surprise yourself with your achievements.  

Friday Night Lights : first heat begins around 4pm. Start warming up as soon as you get there.

And we have a new dimension this year as well. This time the challenge isn’t just for you and T2 but it is also for team pride, in no particular order, Teams Red, Green Orange, Black.

Fundamentals Class: March 4th & 5th, 5:30am or 6:00pm or March 6th & 7th 5:30am or 6:00pm First day is free.  

A no-pressure way to find out if CrossFit is for you. 1-on-1 with a coach for 60-90 min; go through all the basic movements used in class.  Call 412-277-5922 or email office.t2crossfit@gmail.com to reserve your spot. Make up your own mind about CrossFit.

Or existing members can use the Fundamentals Class to re-establish good habits in their CrossFit movements.

The Lurong Challenge : From Coach Matt

The Lurong Resolution Challenge just wrapped up with perfect timing leading into the Open. Our small group of 5 lost a total of 14” and 22lbs (one  maintained weight). Many felt better after cleaning up and fine tuning their diet; noticing a difference in energy levels and performance when dialing in their macros and eating clean. All involved should feel great with the work they did.
