1.     Tell Us About yourself:  I have an amazing family, a Siberian Husky & three cats. I love going to church, the great outdoors and watching hockey games with my family.

2.     How would your best friends describe you? Loyal, Independent & a person with strong character.

3.     What is one thing that people find surprising about you? I like to watch NHL hockey fights when the players are defending themselves & their teammates. 

4.     How long have you been doing CrossFit? 5 Months

5.     What made you start CrossFit? My best friend told me about T2 CROSSFIT when I was looking for a challenge and something new to learn.

6.     What is your favorite thing about CrossFit? I enjoy being with everyone in the morning class because they are a very humorous & encouraging group. I also love that I am always being challenged and learning something different in class.

7.     What is your favorite movement? Deadlifts / Clean and Jerks 

8.     What is your least favorite movement? Butterfly Sit-Ups / V-Ups 

9.     What is your biggest accomplishment to date both CrossFit related and non-CrossFit related? It makes me really happy when I am able to get the movements correct and when I get to add on more weights.

10. What is your next goal? To work on Kipping Swings & the Kipping Knee Raise

11. What is your favorite WOD you have done so far? I enjoy them all but the W.O.D from 1.19.18 was a real challenge for me with being new to CrossFit, I think it’s my favorite because after my second round I wondered what I had got myself into, even teared up a bit but I became determined to continue to push myself through it and do my best. I surprised myself at what I could accomplish.

Memorial Day Hero WOD – Hero WODs are about the Hero not you. On Monday, we will remember Army Sgt 1st Class Daniel Crabtree and the sacrifice he made so that we can complain about how much the workout hurts. 

Dedicated to Army Sgt 1st Class Daniel Crabtree who was killed in Al Kut, Iraq on Thursday, June 8th, 2006.

“With heavy hearts we dedicate this workout to Army Sgt 1st Class Daniel Crabtree. To Daniel’s family and friends, we express our sorrow; to his wife Kathy and daughter Mallory, we tearfully acknowledge your loss as the true cost of freedom. Fair Winds, Daniel.”
