Lurong + Intro = a solid foundation for the New You and your New Year’s Resolutions.

Bright Pink: The Girls Gone Rx Team sent a “Thank You” card to the T2 Community. “Thank you for your incredible support of Bright Pink through GGRX this year. Thanks to your support, athletes raised over $155K for breast and ovarian cancer prevention and early detection in 2017!”

T2 is slated to hold the Pittsburgh area GGRX event in 2018 on Saturday, 8 September. Please mark it on your calendars and start grooming your team for the 2018 competition.

3 words/short phrase – the board is filling up with some wonderful ideas. Please keep your thoughts coming.

Continuing with the ‘looking ahead’ theme, Saturday 7 April 2018, T2 will be hosting CF Specialty Course: Culinary Ninja with Paleo Nick and Ice Age Meals. More details to follow and registration will be through the web site.

A reminder as to why we go to the gym almost every day, why we drag ourselves out of bed early in the morning when the temperature is well below freezing and why we call in on the way home from work when what we really want to do is curl up in front of the fire with a cookie or two.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words: “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.”

Greg Classman, CrossFit CEO and Founder
