Fall Brawl: Saturday, 21 October

By the sounds of it, Fall Brawl, at R.A.W. Training, is going to be bigger and better, well at least different, from previous years. If you have time, and would like to cheer on T2’s 4.5 teams, competition begins at 8:00am and runs through to 7:00pm. For details on where and when, here is a link and their Facebook page – this has the WODs if you are interested.

Good luck to all our athletes:

Men’s Rx:  Ed and John; Cliff and Christian

Women’s Rx:  Anna and Steph; Nicole T and Ann T; Taylor and Jasmine (RAW Training)

Men’s Masters:  Mike M and Ryan E

Even though a lot of members will be MIA (they will be in the North Hills), our usual Saturday morning schedule will continue as normal:

LuRong Challenge: 7:30am doors open, 8:00am WOD

Free Community Class: 9:00am

Members’ WOD 10:30am

Thank you, Paul Sebastian.

Intro Class graduates and new members are:  Sid Gardner, Paul Sabot, Jen MacBride. Please look for them in your class and welcome them into the community. Help them out if they look a little overwhelmed. We were all there once. Thank you.

The RxSmart Gear Jump Rope clinic was a huge success. I know I learned a great deal; I can do DUBs, but I am always gassed after them. If I can break my bad posture habits, and work on the new good posture habits I learned, I should be more efficient.

I know there were several people disappointed that they were unable to come (numbers capped) so I hope in the not-too-distant future, we will be able to hold another one.

(We were 1 1/2 hours into the clinic before we even picked up a rope.)

T2 Kids & Teens: don’t forget, Monday 30 October is ‘bring a friend’ day – costumes optional.

T2 members: Tuesday 31 October, costumes/unusual attire optional but preferable. There maybe consequences for those who wear their normal attire. Just saying. Forewarned is forearmed.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend. Enjoy this ‘Indian summer’; it begins to go downhill next week.

(Indian summer is a period of unseasonably warm, dry weather that sometimes occurs in autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. The US National Weather Service defines this as weather conditions that are sunny and clear with above normal temperatures, occurring late-September to mid-November. It is usually described as occurring after a killing frost.)
